Hello.

Finding a subject, making connections, bringing concepts to life, stirring emotion, creating happiness for others; that's why I paint. Making something that has never existed in the hope to bring people together through connection. Born in Boston, raised in Detroit and now residing in Florida, I've had the privilege to work with, learn from and mentor some incredibly talented people. As a studio art major in college I studied oil painting, printmaking and photography. I also furthered my education with some post-baccalaureate work in design and art direction. With 20 years of art direction experience in the advertising field, I know how to creatively solve problems. But I have been waiting for the opportunity to set challenges for myself and meet them. That time has come! I couldn't be happier. I do not take for granted the ability to do what I love to do...what I was made to do. 

Outside of my professional life, I enjoy traveling, reading good books (on the beach in particular,) and the feeling of open vistas everywhere. I love to play tennis and coach lacrosse. A firmly believe a healthy body makes a healthy mind. I am also active in my church community, Holy Faith. I learn something new almost everyday from my husband and our two daughters, and of course our beloved dog, Rory.
